FVEY Threat Reduction Summit 2025
Using OSINT to Analyze the Convergence of Geopolitics and Cyber Events
Please join fellow users of Recorded Future from various public sector agencies and organizations across the FVEY Community (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) in Washington, D.C., United States on Tuesday, 18 March and Wednesday, 19 March 2025 for the third annual Threat Reduction Summit collaboration event. This is an INVITE-ONLY event open only to defense and intelligence personnel from the FVEY community. Please register your interest in attending below. Your ability to participate will be confirmed by our team and more information will be provided via a confirmation email.
Agenda:
- Keynotes and Panels: Hear from intelligence, defense, and government experts on topics related to current cyber and geopolitical threats as well as where their distinct domains have and might converge.
- Understanding Recorded Future: Explore the key features and functionalities of Recorded Future, gaining insights into its capabilities to predict, analyze, and mitigate cyber and geopolitical threats.
- Interactive Hands-On Workshops: Engage in practical, guided sessions where participants will surface information, interpret intelligence, and analyze significant events demonstrating practical applications that showcase how OSINT augments proactive defense strategies and increases an understanding of intelligence information.
- Networking Opportunities: The event includes ample opportunities, including a happy hour, that will provide open forums among the participants for discussions, Q&A sessions, collaboration, and networking to exchange insights and best practices among peers across the FVEY Community.
Who Should Attend:
The third Annual Recorded Future Threat Reduction Summit is ideal for FVEY Defense and Intelligence officials and operational practitioners to come together and discuss how to anticipate and mitigate cyber threats, the geopolitical threat landscape, and shifting relationships between nations.
Women in Intelligence Event:
Women in Intelligence (WII) 2025 will take place on the afternoon of Monday, 17 March and welcomes any of the Threat Reduction Summit attendees to join for this exciting event. We will bring together communities from across government and CNI, where you can expect to hear from female industry experts discussing some of the most pertinent topics in intelligence today. This event is run by practitioners and is for practitioners. It is dedicated to celebrating diversity and placing inclusion at the forefront of intelligence. There is no cost to attend the FVEY Threat Reduction Summit. The venue will be held in Washington, D.C, United States and confirmed on registration by email.

Lieutenant General Dennis Crall, USMC (ret.) had a distinguished military career that culminated in senior leadership roles advising the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretary of Defense, and Headquarters Marine Corps on cybersecurity, as well as command, control, communications, and computers. Specifically, he served as the Director of Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber (C4) for the Joint Staff; the Deputy Principal Cyber Advisor to the Secretary of Defense; and the Chief Information Officer for the Marine Corps. He was a career aviation command and control officer who flew 34 combat missions in Iraq.

Sami Khoury serves as the Government of Canada Senior Official for Cyber Security, providing cyber security expert advice and guidance to deputy ministers and senior officials across the Government of Canada. This role, with Sami’s extensive experience and knowledge, is critical to safeguarding Canada’s digital infrastructure and advancing our national security interests. Previous to this, Sami was the Head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre) from 2021 to 2024.

In this role, she is responsible for advising the Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations, and Commandant of the Marine Corps on all cyber matters and implementing the Department of Defense Cyber Strategy within the DON.

Ms. Kristina Walter is the Director of NSA’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center, in this role she is responsible for leading NSA’s open private sector relationships, in collaboration with our government partners to protect our critical government supply chain. Ms. Walter integrates NSA’s unique intelligence insights and technical expertise to defend the Defense Industrial Base and our National Security Systems from cyber threats.
